Hər kəsə salam! 🙂 Bu gün ingilis dilindən sonuncu dərsimizi təqdim edirik. Sonuncu mövzu olaraq “So and such” mövzusunu seçdik.

Biz “so”-dan sonra sifət və ya zərf işlədirik:

so nice;  so quick.

“Such”-dan sonra isə isimdən istifadə edilir:

such a story;  such people.

Biz həm də “such + sifət + isim” strukturundan da istifadə edə bilərik:

such nice people.

“So” və “such” hər ikisi sifəti və zərfi daha güclü edir..

1) It’s a beautiful day,isn’t it? It’s so warm.

Siz “so..that” hissəciyindən istifadə edə bilərsiniz.

The book was so good that I couldn’t put it down.

“That”-ı deməyə də bilərik..

I was so tired I feel asleep.

2) It was a great holiday. We had such a good time.

Siz “such..that” ifadəsindən yararlana bilərsiniz.

It was such a good book that I couldn’t put it down.

Bu dəfə də “that”-ı cümlədən xaric edə bilərik.

It was such nice weather we spent..

Biz “so” və “such”-ı “like this” mənasında da işlədə bilərik.

I’m tired because I got up at six.I don’t usually get up so early.

You know it’s not true.How can you say such a thing.

“No such” ifadəsi isə inkarlıq bildirmək üçün istifadə edilir.

You won’t find the word “blid” in the dictionary.There’s no such word.

İndi isə “so” və “such”-ı müqayisə edək:

so long —> such a long time.

I haven’t seen her for so long I’ve forgotten what she looks like.

I haven’t seen her for such a long time.

so far —> such a long way.

I didn’t know it was so far.

I didn’t know it was such a long way.

so much,so many —> such a lot (of)

I’m sorry I’m late – there was so much traffic.

I’m sorry I’m late – there was such a lot of traffic.

look through  –  vərəqləmək,nəzərdən keçirmək

chapter  –  kitabda fəsil

fascinating  –  valehedici
